We’re happy to announce a big change! After more than a decade in business, Lana Veenker Casting has become Cast Iron Studios, and we’re ready to celebrate all the growth and hard work that’s brought us to this moment.
We’re still the Northwest’s premiere film and television casting company, and we’re now delving into production development as well.
Why the new name?
For a long time, Lana has wanted to honor the contributions of her team, by taking her name out of the company moniker. And she’s keen to tackle new challenges, by playing a larger part in the productions that cross her desk.
In her new role as Executive Producer, she’ll maintain her involvement in film and television casting, while vetting projects of her own to shepherd through the production process.
Casting Director Eryn Goodman will continue to head up primary casting duties, while Office Dominatrix Ranielle Gray (henceforward Associate Producer) will keep the gears running at all cylinders.
Please keep up with us on our new Facebook page at http://facebook.com/castironstudios and on Twitter at http://twitter.com/castironstudios.
And, of course, right here on our blog.
Join us as we forge forward!

It’s good to have this page – I was wondering why. Her name is so ingrained in the Portland consciousness, so it’s risky changing a brand, but I can understand why.
First time I’ve been to the new site – it looks (and works!) great!
Congrats on moving deeper into your dreams to include Exec Producing. Thank you, ALL of you for all you do for all of us. It’s a lot of work and well appreciated!
