26 of the roles have been booked.
A few remaining principal roles are currently in contract negotiations.
Background roles may still be available (although not through my office, so don’t write to me; I can’t help you! Sorry!).
Congrats to the cast and break a leg (but not really…it’s hard to skate on crutches!)

What type of roles are there, like is it separated into various social groups?

The roles have pretty much been cast at this point. You’ll have to come see the movie to see what types of roles there are, but it’s mostly high school kids and skaters of all types.

Oh wonderful, will it be airing in theaters?
They called me to be an extra in the school scene, and had me block out 4 days to be totally available, nov 10-14, but we’re in the middle of that now and i haven’t heard anything. Do you know if they’re shooting yet? How might I find out? it’s pretty confusing the way this works….
Anonymous #2, yes, it should be airing in theatres. Don’t ask me when; I’m not editing!
Anonymous #3, we didn’t do the extras casting, so I don’t know what happened. I do know they trimmed a few days off the shoot schedule, but not sure if that’s the reason you never heard back. Bummer!
